The overhead sign on the QEW near Fruitland Road has had this message on it lately:
SPEED ENFORCEMENT IN EFFECT
I must confess I'm confused -
does this mean that up until now they weren't enforcing the speed limits ??
does it mean that speed limits are only enforced when this message is on the sign ??

Good question. Test your theory by speeding when the sign's not on, and then ask the nice officer who pulls you over.
