Guilt

After guilting P2 into a fresh blog I looked at the date on my  blog & felt a little guilty :)

Seems like a lot happening right now but most of it revolves around Marion's worsening deafness & how it will manifest itself in our lives.

She has lost almost all the word recognition in her left ear now so the hearing aid no longer helps. She says the worst part is all the noise in her left ear - popping sounds, cracking noises & the feeling of wind blowing - almost constantly.

She is unable to concentrate on things like she used to, is experiencing more vertigo & seems agitated most of the time.

How will this affect being in a church service, a small group, our prayer meetings, family gatherings, restaurants, getting together with friends ??

So many questions & we really don't know .. again.

We thought we had worked through all that stuff a year ago & things were so much better once she got her hearing aid. But now .....

We have a meeting next week with a Meniere's specialist so maybe she can make some suggestions.
