We went for a ride out toward Lake Erie on Saturday.
As we went through Selkirk I noticed this sign on one of the store fronts:
TOWN & COUNTRY FOODS
LCBO
BEER STORE
FIREWORKS
Is it just me or does this seem like a bad combination ??
I always thought Selkirk was famous for its annual "Gas Fest" (you just can't make stuff like this up) but I'm thinking they may also have some exciting, if unplanned, fireworks displays as well.

Well that whole thing is just FUNNY all around, on every level.
You know I've never asked anyone from that area any details about Gas Fest - I prefer to let my imagination run wild :)
