Getting Ready

We have spent the last week or so getting our house ready to sell.

According to my wife the house must be in prefect shape before it can hit the market.

So we have:

• painted the shutters to match the new garage door (white)
• put a new vent on the front of the house (actually the neighbour did this - its really really high & I don't do high)
• painted the front railing
• sanded, stained & varnished the upstairs hallway & the stairs
• painted the security bars on the basement windows

Tomorrow I have to put another coat of varnish on the stairs & then start painting the exposed cement below the bricks around the house.

It hit me earlier today that if Marion changes her mind about selling the house I will have finished almost all the things that have been on my "to do" list for quite awhile now.
