2010 Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas day yesterday.

Our daughter filled her home with friends & family (and a lot of smoke).
We all enjoyed great food and tons of laughter.

I will always remember Marion trying her first sushi ever with my son-in-law & a Korean exchange student urging her to try it with a "penny sized" piece of wasabi on top of it. Good thing for Marion the Chinese lady who brought the sushi came to her rescue and told her how to mix a small amount of wasabi with soy sauce.

Later in the evening though when it was just family left I was thinking that this was indeed a Christmas in 2010.
At one point I looked around the room & saw:
  • my daughter & son-in-law on their i phones
  • my son on his blackberry
  • my granddaughters on their i pads
  • my daughter-in-law & my granddaughter's boyfriend on e-readers
  • one grandson on an mp3 player
  • 2 more grandsons playing video games on the Sony
And grandma & I feeling very technology challenged :)
