OK - its Nov 24th & now I'm getting upset!
I received an Amazon gift certificate for my birthday from my lovely wife (who was shocked to discover I could not buy e-books for my Sony e-reader from Amazon - but that's another story).
The very next day, Monday Nov 8th I ordered the Jason Bourne Trilogy dvds, the Lord of the Rings dvd set & 2 Francis Chan books (Crazy Love & The Forgotten God).
Well, now its Nov 24th & they haven't even left the loading dock yet!!
After venting here I'm off to the Amazon site to find a place to complain :)
Marion & I have been asked to help lead a home group based on Crazy Love in January & it would be nice to have at least read the book before we start.

Wow, Amazon is usually so fast! Why can't you buy e-books? I know nothing about them....

the 2 books & the Bourne dvds came in today
the Lord of the Rings supposed to be here before Christmas.

Amazon sells the Kindle e-reader so the e-books sold on Amazon can only be read on a a Kindle
I have a Sony e-reader so I have to buy the e-books for it from Sony.
I bought the Sony because Chris has one & we can trade books :)
I do like the e-reader though - I usually have a least a couple of books on the go & Marion doesn't have my books laying in different locations all over the house.
i have a copy if you need it.

my 12 disc set of Lord of the Rings came in today
it'll give me something to do early next year :)
