I'm typing this from my hospital room in Mississauga.
The guys from work showed up with my laptop and a few surprises for me this afternoon.
- a full face Halloween mask they want me to wear when I go to bed tonight.
- 2 bags of chips (nice for a guy on a liquid diet)
- a 6 pack of beer (wrong liquid)
- 2 bungee cords (so I won't fall out of bed)
- a couple of 649 tickets (they told me if I win I didn't have to share but they would make me feel guilty)
- 3 assorted puzzle books
The only dinner meal left was fish cakes - so I settled for a bowl of Tim's chicken noodle soup.
Hopefully I'm out of here soon

Aah, fish Monday. Fish dinner day is definitely one to avoid, even with the best of stomachs.

I was telling the youth on Thursday about some of the gifts you got in the hospital and they got a real kick out of it :)
(as part of talking with them what a great bunch of people we have outside of "youth age" Crossfire to connect with).
Hi Bob... gee, I didn't even know you were in the hospital. I haven't been to church since the play I did in church on the 7th of Sept. So I am out of touch with what has been happening. My back is in bad shape but I am slowly recovering. I hope that you are out of the hospital and cruising around in that car of yours with the top down and your babe by your side.
