I received the OK from my surgeon to go back to work on Monday !!
A few minor restrictions (the main one being - lift nothing over 5 kg) but since I work mostly at my computer they should cause no problems.
I am looking forward to getting back to normal - but probably not as much as mrv is looking forward to it :)

Glad to hear of your progress Bob. Take it easy: do what the Doc says. Repair jobs ain't nice. Give it time. Besides, you now have an alibi when MRV pushes. It should last for at least 6 mos. and then you can come up with another excuse.

Glad to hear you are healing well Bob. Does this mean mrv has to take out the garbage for a few more weeks? Enjoy it while it lasts! lol.
Your are indeed fortunate. Five kilos! 30 years ago, before Canada converted to the metric system, you would be limited to five pounds. I knew the metric system would come in handy some day.
