I went to the Blissed show at 24/7 in Burlington Friday night - pretty sure I was the oldest there by quite a bit :)
I really enjoyed the show - I knew Blissed was good (from their CD's) but was impressed with how professional they were live.
Excellent presentation - lighting, stage presence, sound (thank God for ear plugs).
I was surprised by how quiet the crowd was though. Most folk just sat & listened.
I expected people would be more into it than they appeared to be.
Maybe its just a Canadian thing.

missed it!
the weather and the drive were terrible on friday and we couldn't get down your way.. just as well, i've had a sore throat and headache all weekend.. too bad we missed the show, though!
In the United States this type of music is served up alive and kicking like a freshly caught fish. It excites the crowd and they are carried away in a frenzy.
Here, we take that freshly caught fish, alive and kicking, and clean it, cook it and serve it up with a side order of tofu. Only in Canada, eh!
Yep, in the U.S. they are bad. We, on the other hand, get excited when we near the state of being naughty.
;)
That's because it was in Burlington. Hamiltonians would be more lively. I know, I grew up there. It's full of conservatives and their conservative children. Did they not have a mosh pit?
