Rode home last night from work with the top down & radio blasting.
OK, Tuesday night I had the top down too but I had the windows up and the heater on so it doesn't count.
It must be almost time for mrv to take her summer car back : )
Some great driving songs yesterday on Q107
It's Only Rock & Roll by the Stones
CC Rider by Mitch Rider & the Detroit Wheels
A couple of my favourite driving songs are by Golden Ear Ring
Radar Love
When the Bullet Hits the Bone
Any of you have any driving favourites??

Billy Joel - "We Didn't Start the Fire" and "It's Still Rock & Roll To Me".
Oh and "My Life"!!!!! I love that song. Sometimes I play it over and over in the car, singing at the top of my lungs, "I don't need you to worry for me, 'cause I'm ALL RIGHT!!!".
That one and "You May Be Right". "But it just may be a loo-na-tic you're lookin' for."
That could explain how I married Spike.
Well. I need to go find my Billy Joel CD's now.
When I'm by myself on the highway, I like loud rock music. My fav is Thunderstruck by AC DC.( Spike thought he was the only rocker in church) I have to be careful though because my speed seems to automatically increase. I guess it's the adrenalin working. On more relaxed drives, I play country music or worship music.
you can't go wrong with billy joel ... or classic Elton John
ALSO love ...
Joan Jett ( I Love Rock and Roll)
You may laugh ... but ...
Styx ('Cause you know it's you BABE)
ooooh need to got find the hits of the 80's on my Itunes
:)
Billy Joel is OK but .......STYX !!
I've got their greatest hits CD & love it.
Guess I've got "too much time on my hands"
I like Boston's " More Than a Feeling" too. Great guitars.
Ok, so I'm not as much into rock and roll as the rest of you. I prefer listening to the Beach Boys when driving in the summer. Mostly because summer was when I could rent a car, and drive up to the cottage at the beach. Beach Boys tunes got me in the mood for eating ice cream, and vegging on the beach.
Well, "Show me how to live" by Audioslave is one of mine.
"Born to be Wild" that's another fave, good ol' Steppenwolf!
Hmm, what else? "Magic Carpet Ride" That's another
Yay, Audioslave!
This was such an odd post to read by one's father, but seriously cool :)
It depends...
I use to listen to Nickleback's "Never Again" on my way to court - got me primed to scrap it out.
Pink's "Dear Mr. President" is good. I sing to that one - with the windows rolled UP so no one else suffers. (Although I catch people looking at me and smiling, just like I smile when I see other drivers singing)
I like driving to "The Girl From Ipanema".
Okay.. I like driving to anything I like. Sometimes I'll listen to a CF sermon while in the car en route to other places because it seems that's the only time I have any more to catch a sermon.
new pic, bob?
