One of the ladies I work with (she of the "silly caucasion" comment) is taking a cake decorating class - this is her first effort.
Rather than subject her childern to all the sugar & bad stuff in the cake she decided to bring it into work and let us have at it.
The poor cake didn't last long - half the staff here right now are university students on co-ops.
Anyway we get one a week while the classes last & next week I'm back to my 8-4 job where I won't have to battle the kids for a 2nd piece.
So much for the diet:)

Oh, you better not tell mrv. She'll MAKE you go back on your diet!!!
What's the "LL" on the cake?
her initials
we'll see if mrv looks at my blog:)
if she doesn't you are all sworn to secrecy
Boy, Bob, that cake sure beats a toilet with googly eyes.
I won't tell mrv, but if you develop a taste for green tea and consume it before and after eating the cake, it will suppress all the carbs so they don't turn into fat.
mmmmmm........ cake! I love cake too Bob. My wife brought one home from Sunday night and I have been eating it ever since. So much for diets!
Don G
thanks for the tip on green tea
I'm turning into a "tea grannie" lately (much to coffee fanatic mrv's dismay)so I'll be sure to have some before & after next weeks cake.
Remember what the great french prophetess said: "Let them eat cake..." We know how that turned out. Cake... a dangerous sweet.
I thought the LL´s were seagulls!
I can keep a secret if someone brings me some cake next week....
Christine! You're back!! I'll have to check your blog.
